From Seattle to LA: The Unstoppable Thrill of VAV's US Subcönscióus Tour

Hold onto your lightsticks and get set for the electrifying ride that was VAV's 2024 US Subcönscióus Tour.

This tour was a whirlwind of heart-pounding beats, breathtaking performances, and moments that left VAMPZ on cloud nine, where each city brought its own flavor to the festivities. VAV unleashed a dynamic setlist that alternated with surprises each night, ensuring that no two shows were the same. For those who attended, post-concert depression is already in full swing. And for those who missed out, brace yourselves for major FOMO as I take you through three phenomenal nights across Seattle, San Francisco, and the epic grand finale in Los Angeles.

Seattle, January 18th - The Showbox:

Seattle might be known for its coffee, but on this night, it was the Showbox that brewed up the real magic. In defiance of the chilly weather outside, the moment VAMPZ stepped indoors, the atmosphere transformed into a heated spectacle. VAV ignited the stage with their latest title track, "Designer," and the crowd was then serenaded with the heartfelt "I'm Sorry," accompanied by the customary ab flash from Ace. The infectious energy of "Thrilla Killa" permeated the room, keeping the audience alive. Following this high-octane start, the members introduced themselves to Seattle VAMPZ for the first time, seamlessly transitioning into the next set of songs, including the sultry "Senorita."

However, the surprise cover of "Marry Me" by Bruno Mars served as the perfect segue into VAV's renowned Wish Game, transforming dreams into reality. This unique experience featured an array of fan service moments, such as snapping a selfie with Ziu, witnessing Jacob's adorable ageyo, and sharing a K-drama moment with St. Van, among others. The night concluded on a high note with the enchanting encore performance of "Into You" and "Touch You."

San Francisco, January 19th - Cowell Theater:

Next stop: the Bay Area! The Cowell Theater underwent a K-pop metamorphosis as VAV graced the stage, delivering another spellbinding round of musical euphoria as VAV and Bay Area VAMPZ were reunited for the first time in nearly four years. The energy that St. Van, Ace, Ayno, Jacob, Lou, and Ziu had on stage was unwavering, not allowing any slight weariness to set in from back-to-back shows in the case of Seattle and San Francisco.

Their setlist, a tapestry of classics like "Poison" and "She’s Mine," was interwoven with surprises, a sprinkle of charisma, and perhaps a hint of daring skin, creating an irresistible blend of joy and rhythm that reverberated through the theater. The Wish Game, an ongoing source of delight, continued its reign of joy, with fans drawn on stage to make wishes that ranged from heartwarming (such as Lou serenading a lucky fan) to downright hilarious (courtesy of Ayno's ageyo). San Francisco VAMPZ proved their unwavering affection for the sextet, extending a warm and exuberant welcome to VAV, ensuring the Bay Area was not just a tour stop but a memorable celebration of music, connection, and the boundless love between St. Van, Ace, Ayno, Jacob, Lou and Ziu, and VAMPZ.

Los Angeles, January 21st - Avalon Hollywood:

The grand finale in the City of Angels was nothing short of epic. Los Angeles had a special place in VAV's heart – after all, they filmed the music video for "Designer" there in early 2022. The Avalon Hollywood was bursting with energy as VAV took the stage for the last time on this tour. With a setlist featuring "Spotlight" and "Winter Breeze," the atmosphere was electric. The cover of "One Thing" by One Direction added a nostalgic twist, while the Wish Game reached new heights of fan service.

The final stop of the tour carried a unique magic, an intensified connection between the members and their VAMPZ, as they bid farewell with the encore songs before returning one final time for "Give Me More (Un Poco Mas)," the bittersweet parting marked the end of an extraordinary journey, leaving both VAV and VAMPZ yearning for the next rendezvous.

In the end, VAV's Subconscious US Tour wasn't just a concert series; it was an enchanting odyssey filled with surprises, fan service galore, and an unbreakable bond between St. Van, Ace, Ayno, Jacob, Lou and Ziu, and VAMPZ. Until the next tour, the echoes of their music and the memories created will resonate, ensuring that the 2024 VAV Subconscious Tour will forever hold a special place in the hearts of VAMPZ.
