Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, “Navillera” tells the story of Deok Chul (Park In Hwan), a man who begins ballet at the age of 70, and Chae Rok (Song Kang), a 23-year-old ballerino who gets lost while chasing his dreams.

It Realistically Shows the Struggles of Trying to Reach Your Dreams
Shim Deok Chul is a 70-year-old retired mailman who always dreamt of becoming a ballet dancer. Over the course of his life, he always put his family before his dream. Lee Chae Rok is a 23-year-old ballet dancer struggling to support himself financially. As his passion for ballet vanishes, he meets aspiring ballet dancer Shim Deok Chul.
Song Kang’s Role Preparation
The producers of “Navillera” recently praised Song Kang for his dedication to making the role more realistic. Not only did Song Kang enroll in a ballet academy, but he also practiced for months leading up to and during filming. Kudos!
Above All, It’s Inspiring
“Navillera” is inspiring in so many ways. It will teach you a lesson or two about life, has a good message for viewers of all ages, and each character will also leave you at least one lesson at the end of the show.
