How To Prepare for Kingdom: Legendary War

One of the biggest K-Pop survival shows that exists today is almost here!

Mnet's Kingdom: Legendary War is set to air on April 1st at 7:50 PM KST. The six groups facing off for their chance to earn the title of performance king include BTOB, iKON, SF9, The BOYZ, STRAY KIDS, and ATEEZ.

As we countdown the handful of remaining days until the show airs, here are ten things to watch to get prepared.

The Boyz

The Boyz were on the inaugural season of Kingdom last summer, competing against other amazing groups like Pentagon, Oneus, and Verivery for the crown. The Boyz took the trophy, successfully securing their spot in Kingdom: Legendary War to compete with some of the best 3rd and 4th generation K-Pop groups to date.

ATEEZ

In the summer of 2018, ATEEZ was already making a name for themselves, and they hadn’t even debuted yet! From their dance performance videos when they were KQ Fellaz to the power vs. sexy dance battle taking on BTS, NCT, and WANNAONE songs. They had fans swooning from the get-go.

The BOYZ x ATEEZ x STRAY KIDS at 2020 MAMA

Ahead of the official lineup announcement for KINGDOM: LEGENDARY WAR, MNET invited Hyunjin of STRAY KIDS, San of ATEEZ, and Juyeon of THE BOYZ to join forces for a special collaboration performance at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).

SF9

SF9 has become somewhat of a legend in the K-Pop industry due to its impressive relay dances. Whether it’s showcasing their impressive dance moves and charisma or cracking up fans with their signature goofiness, they never fail to deliver.

iKON

Back in 2016, iKON competed on the Chinese competition show Heroes of Remix. During their stint on the show, they did a 60-second performance of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean that not only went viral on the internet but earned them praise from Michael’s choreographer, too.

THE BOYZ x STRAY KIDS at 2018 MBC Music Festival

Years before Mnet launched its successful "Kingdom" competition series, THE BOYZ and STRAY KIDS teamed up for a special stage of H.O.T.'s "Warrior's Descendant during the 2018 MBC Music Festival.

STRAY KIDS

From concerts and music show performances to music videos and everything in between, STRAY KIDS are masters of the stage. If their online concert, Beyond LIVE - Stray Kids 'Unlock: GO LIVE IN LIFE' is any indicator of what we can expect during Kingdom: Legendary War, we are in for a treat.

BtoB

BtoB will be competing through their four-member subunit, BTOB 4U, as three of the members are currently serving in the military. Check out the music video for BTOB 4U’s song Show Your Love, written to help fans through the difficult situation due to the ongoing pandemic.
