After nearly eleven months, RBW’s ONEUS reunited with their adoring fans (TOMOON) at their 2023 ONEUS 1ST WORLD TOUR REACH FOR US. The tour followed the quintuplet’s third U.S. tour and expanded to ten cities across the country.
On Saturday, February 4th, 2023, TOMOON filled the Los Angeles area music venue, Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Built-in 1931, the venue has been used for various events, including the Emmy Awards and American Idol, as well as housed some very talented musicians. Notable K-Pop artists who have taken the stage at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium include Red Velvet, The Boyz, Stray Kids, GOT7, N.Flying, and now ONEUS.
While LA TOMOONs caught Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong, and Xion towards the tail-end of their world tour, the members themselves exuded boundless energy and enthusiasm to be back in the City of Angels.
Powerful Performances
Kicking off the concert at 7:30pm sharp, ONEUS took fans through sleek versions of “Bring It On,” “COME BACK HOME,” and “BLACK MIRROR,” setting the tone for a memorable night. While recapping their opening set, the members took a brief break and introduced themselves to the TOMOONs who made it out. As they went one by one, they hyped up the crowd, encouraging them to scream louder before expressing how happy they were to be back in LA performing for them again.
Despite the endurance-demanding setlist, Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong, and Xion were undoubtedly energized by the crowd’s nonstop screams as they delivered powerful back-to-back performances each and every time they took the stage. From alluring renditions of “STUPID LOVE” and “Skydivin'“ to passionately choreographed versions of “LUNA” and “LIT” and more, ONEUS left the audience visibly breathless. The quintuplet seemed at ease, refreshed, and determined to give TOMOONs a night to remember.
Special Stages
Just like their last tour, ONEUS arranged a melody of special stages that highlighted their signature charms and personalities. Following the adorable VCR that interviewed the group ahead of the tour, the members came back out on stage in new, more casual outfits. The group executed a hard-hitting cover of “Pink Venom” by BLACKPINK before shifting into a sensual and swoonworthy dance performance of “Sexy Back” by Justin Timberlake. To wrap up the set of special stages, Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong, and Xion performed dance a melody of TOP GUN tracks that included a surprise shirt rip by Leedo, earning a shocked expression from his members and deafening screams from the audience.
Interacting With Fans
Between their playful banter amongst themselves and the crowd, the bond between Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong, and Xion, as well as the bond between ONEUS and TOMOONs, was very apparent. However, the group took it a step further after a short intermission when they returned in their tour merch. As the members joined the crowd in the aisles throughout the entire venue, ONEUS gave their full attention to the audience in hopes of creating new and lasting memories with each TOMOON in the audience.
Setlist
This tour is ONEUS’s third tour throughout the U.S. and the group’s latest visit in less than a year. The 22-song set consists of a mix of debut favorites, amazing special stages, and fan favorites, such as “LIT,” “Bring it On,” “No Diggity,” “Youth,” and “COME BACK HOME.”
