Sik-K Takes Over Seattle’s Showbox on His Pop A Lot Tour

With a line that stretched down the block past the entrance of Pike Place Market, bystanders knew something epic was about to go down at The Showbox in Seattle. Sik-K’s was closing out the U.S. portion of his POP A LOT world tour and was about to perform in front of Seattle fans for the first time ever.

From fans lining up earlier that morning to ones who had arrived just minutes before the doors opened, one thing was for sure - no one was ready for what was about to pop off. As the clock crested 8:30 PM, DJ SMMT was met with deafening screams as he took the stage and began spinning the unreleased song “Shawty Wanna Wait." With crowd cheers beginning to peak as the song's chorus neared, Sik-K took the stage in his signature sunglasses, ready to take over.

Met with echoing screams, Sik-K smiled as he began his performance, moving around the stage and eventually rewarding fans with his other signature move - an ab flash. As the first song transitioned into the next, chants of "Melanin Handsome" filled the air from all corners of the venue. The electric energy was palpable, and it was only the beginning.

Sik-K then took a brief moment to greet fans and introduce himself, although it wasn’t necessary - the packed venue knew who they were here to see. Kicking off with “UNO GOTTA RUN,” the crowd erupted into cheers and chants as Sik-K launched himself into his set.

Next, Sik-K surprised fans by bringing out his friend and fellow talented rapper, HAON. Together the duo performed “Crash Mercedes,” “Balaclava Babies,” “Maybe I’m Crazy,” and “I Can’t See You” before Sik-K left the stage. HAON’s solo set was as charming as it was intoxicating as he performed his hits, “No Rush,” “Barcode,” “Finish Line Remix,” and “BwB.” Despite his lady killer antics, HAON still had the energy to perform his Latin-infused track, “Noah,” before turning over the stage.

Running on stage next was special guest JMIN. With buttery vocals and a rap flow to match, the charismatic singer had fans in the palm of his hands as he transitioned from “Smash” to “Don’t Worry” to “I Swear” to “Wave.” He briefly took a moment to communicate with fans before taking fans through the remainder of his setlist, but not before performing fan favorite, “Dedication.”

As Sik-K returned to the stage, reuniting with fans once again, he was met with enthusiastic cheers that echoed throughout The Showbox. Song after song, Sik-K showed no signs of stopping. Songs like “Rendezvous,” “NEW LOVE,” “XANAX,” and “RING RING” had the whole venue singing, while tracks like “MI CASA ES TU CASA” and “Habibi” had fans thirsting for more.

From smooth rap flows and abs on display to true artistic showmanship, Sik-K effortlessly took over The Showbox, successfully wrapping up his first concert in Seattle.

If you missed the chance to see Sik-K while out on tour, I highly recommend that you go out and support him next time he’s in your area. I promise it will be a good time, and it’ll be a miss if you don’t. Meanwhile, Sik-K is set to release his ALBUM ON THE WAY mixtape.
